Bjork once said "I have full respect for the classical."
- Mim Udovitch, November 17th 1994 issue of Rolling Stone (No. 695).
I've been thinking about this quote recently because I also have full respect for the classical... and the contemporary. I think this is what I endeavor to do when I'm stuck in the writing process - merge the two with research and (I hope) technique. Also throw in a bit of soul and I'll be singing like Billie Holiday.
